기적을 이루는 방법
How to make a
miracle
기적을 이루는 방법은 두가지가 있습니다. 하나는 신에게 구해서 기적을 이루는 것이며 또하나는 자신에게 구해서 기적을 구하는
것입니다.
There are two ways to achieve miracles. One is to ask God for a
miracle, and the other is to ask oneself for a miracle.
대개 사람들은
이렇게 생각할 것입니다. 어떻게 기적이 보잘것 없는 나에게 일어날수 있다는 것인가 신이라면 몰라도 나는 그러한 능력이 없다.
Most people would think this way. How can a miracle happen to me who is
insignificant? I don't know if it could happen if it's a god, but I
don't have that ability.
그러므로 신에게 기도해서 얻는다면 가능할지 모르겠지만 스스로 그러한
기적을 얻을 수는 없다. 만일 내가 그러한 기적을 얻는다면 내가 신이 아니고 무엇이겠는가.
Therefore,
although it may be possible to obtain it by praying to God, I cannot
obtain such a miracle myself. If I get such a miracle, what am I but a
god?
그래서 사람들은 신에게 기도하고 기도는 이루어지고 그러면 다시 신에게 의존하며 더 열심히 기도하며 점점 신에
대한 의존은 깊어져 갑니다. 그러나 여기에는 근본적인 모순이 있습니다.
So people pray to God,
and the prayer is fulfilled, and then they depend on God again, pray
more diligently, and their dependence on God grows deeper. But there is
a fundamental contradiction here.
신에게 의존한다면 무엇을 원하겠습니까? 아무것도 원할
것이 없습니다. 신이 다 알아서 해줄 것인데 무엇을 더 원하고 바라겠습니까? 부모에게 의존해서 부모가 여러분을 길러준 것이
아닙니다. 아무것도 의존하지 않았고 부모가 여러분에게 필요한 것을 주어 길러왔던 것입니다.
If you
depend on God, what would you want? There is nothing to want. God will
take care of everything, so what more could you want? Your parents
didn't raise you because you depended on your parents. You didn't depend
on anything and your parents raised you by giving you what you needed.
우리가 필요한 것을 깨닫고 그것을 얻기 위해서는 부모의 의존에서 부터 벗어나야 합니다. 왜냐하면 필요한 것은 바로 부모를
통해서 얻어야 하는 것이 아니라 결국 자신을 위해서 필요한 것이며 스스로 얻어야 하는 것입니다. 젖먹이에서 어른으로 성장하기
위해서는 자기자신을 위해 필요한것을 스스로 구하기 시작하는 과정을 거쳐야 합니다.
In order to realize
what we need and get it, we must free ourselves from parental
dependence. Because what you need is not what you need to get through
your parents, but what you need for yourself in the end and what you
need to get yourself. In order to grow from a baby to an adult, you have
to go through the process of starting to seek out what you need for
yourself.
신에게 의존하는 순간 당신 자신의 자아는 신과 당신자신으로 나누어집니다. 그 의존이 점점
강해질수록 자아는 점점 줄어듭니다. 자아가 줄어들수록 필요한 것이 없어집니다. 모든 것은 그저 하늘의 뜻에 맡기면 되며 따라서
아무런 기적도 아무런 능력도 필요하지 않습니다.
The moment you depend on God, your
own self splits between God and yourself. As the dependence grows
stronger, the ego becomes less and less. The less the ego, the less need
there is. Everything is simply left to the will of Heaven, so no
miracles or powers are needed.
부모가 날라다 주는 먹이를 받아먹고살때는 아무런 것도 원하고
바랄 필요가 없습니다. 들어오면 들어오는대로 먹고 못들어오면 할 수 없는 것입니다. 그러나 날개가 자라면 부모의 먹이를 받아먹을
수없으며 스스로 날아 먹이를 찾아야 합니다.
When you live on the food your parents
bring you, you don't need to want or wish for anything. If it comes in,
eat as it comes in, and if it doesn't come in, you can't help but giving
it up. However, when the wings grow, they cannot receive food from their
parents and must fly to find food on their own.
기적을 구하는 방법도 그와
같습니다. 신에게 의존해서 기적을 구하는 것은 근본적으로 자아가 없기 때문에 기적을 구하는 것 자체가 모순이며 기적은 의존을
걷어내고 혼자 섰을 때에 무엇을 원할 수 있는 지 알게 되는 것이며 그때에 기적을 구할 수 있습니다. 무엇을 구해야 할지도
모르는데 어떻게 기적이 발생할 수 있겠습니까?
The way to seek a miracle is like that.
Seeking a miracle by relying on God is fundamentally selfless, so
seeking a miracle is a contradiction in itself, and a miracle is what
you know what you should want when you stand alone out of dependence,
and you can seek a miralcle then. How can a miracle happen when you
don't even know what to ask for?
여러분은 분명히 무엇을 원하는지 안다고 말할
것입니다. 아마 신께 내가 잘살고 돈많이 벌고 좋은 학교에 들어가고 병에서 낫게 해달라고 기도할 것입니다. 언뜻 생각하면 신에게
이렇게 빌어서 얻는 것이 합당할 것 같으나 실제로 그렇게 기도하는 사람은 많지 않습니다. 과연 그것이믿음이 부족해서 일까요.
믿음과는 관련이 없습니다.
You will surely say you know what you want. I
will probably pray to God that I will live well, earn a lot of money, go
to a good school, and be cured of my illness. At first glance, it seems
reasonable to pray to God like this, but not many people actually pray
like that. Could it be because of a lack of faith? It has nothing to do
with belief.
누구도 자신의 복을 빌기위해 신을 이용하려 하지 않습니다. 그러한 것에 스스로 부끄러움을
느끼기 때문입니다. 조그마한 물건이라도 여러분은 남에게 빌릴때 수치심을 느낍니다. 그런데 어떻게 거룩하고 위대한 사람에게 당신
자신의 이득을 위한 것을 바랄 수 있습니까? 아무것도 여러분은 신에게 바랄수 없으며 그것은 뻔뻔스러운 것입니다.
No
one wants to use God to bless themselves. Because you feel ashamed of
yourself. You feel ashamed when you borrow even small things from
others. How then can you wish upon a holy and great man for your own
gain? Nothing you can ask of God, that is shameless.
오히려 여러분은 신을
찾게 되면서 내가 어떻게 되든지 상관없으며 모든 것은 신의 뜻이며 신이 원하는대로 내가 되기를 원하게 되며 스스로를
희생하려합니다. 그러한 것은 바로 자아가 사라져가는 증상이며 신에게 의존할수록 기적은 사라지게 됩니다.
Rather,
as you seek God, you sacrifice yourself, wanting to be what God wants
you to be, that you don't care what happens. Everything is God's will,
and you want as God wants you to be and try to sacrifice yourself. Such
are the symptoms of the ego disappearing, and the more you depend on
God, the more the miracle disappears.
때로 신에게 기도하고 구해서 원하는 것을 이루는
사람도 있습니다. 그러나 그러한 사람은 정상적인 사고를 가진 사람이 아니며 정상적인 심리상태가 아니기 때문에 일시적으로 또는
충동적으로 매달릴수 있으나 계속 지속될 수 없습니다. 또한 그렇게 해서 이루어졌다고 해도 그것은 신을 통해서가 아니라 스스로를
통해서 이루어졌다는 것을 깨닳아야 합니다.
Sometimes there are people who pray to
God and ask for it and get what they want. However, such a person is not
a person with normal thinking and is not in a normal psychological
state, so he may temporarily or impulsively cling to it, but it cannot
continue. Also, even if it was done that way, you have to realize that
it was done through yourself and not through God.
점점 더 의존을 버리고
자아를 강화할 때 자신이 원하는 것을 분명히 원할 수 있게 되며 원할 수 있을 때에 기적을 구할 수 있습니다. 그리고 기적은 신을
통해서 일어나는 것이 아니라 스스로의 힘으로 얻는것이라는 것을 깨닳을 수 있습니다.
As you
increasingly let go of dependence and strengthen your ego, you will be
able to clearly want what you want, and you will be able to ask for
miracles when you can want. And you can realize that miracles don't
happen through God, but you get them on your own.
구하는 것을 분명히 알게
되고 그것이 신을 통한 기적이 아닌 스스로의 기적을 통해서 일어날 것이라고 믿으면 기적은 이루어집니다.
Miracles come true when you know what you are asking for and believe
that it will happen through your own miracle, not through a miracle
through God.
신을 통해서 기적이 이루어졌을 때에 크게 기쁠 수 없습니다. 여러분이 이룬 기적을 결국 신이
다 가져갈 것입니다. 빌린 것은반드시 갚아야 합니다. 기쁨은 여러분의 자아를 통해 이루는 것입니다. 신을 통하지 않고 조그마한
기적이 이루어졌을 때에 큰 기쁨을 얻을 수 있습니다
You cannot be very happy when a
miracle is accomplished through God. In the end, God will take all the
miracles you have accomplished. What is borrowed must be repaid. Joy is
what you achieve through your ego. You can get great joy when a small
miracle is done without going through God
남한테 구하면 많이 얻었을지라도 기쁘지
않습니다. 얻은것은 갚아야 하며 갚지 않는다고 하더라도 쉽게 사라지며 또 다시 구해야 할 것이기 때문입니다.
If you
get through others, you will not be happy even if you get a lot. This is
because what you gain must be repaid, and even if you do not pay it
back, it will easily disappear and you will have to seek it again.
그러나 여러분이 스스로 경작하여 일군 밭에서 얻은 것은 바로 여러분의 것이며 그것은 작고 힘들더라도 여러분에게 기쁨을
가져다 줍니다.
However, what you get from the fields you cultivate by
yourself is yours, and it brings you joy, even if it is small and
difficult.
그러므로 어떻게 내가 기적을 일으키겠는가 하는 생각을 우선 버려야 하며 작은 것에서 부터 기적을
구하는 습관을 가지면 되며 그것은 작더라도 스스로를 통해서 구한다는 생각을 가지면 됩니다.
Therefore, you
must first get rid of the doubt of how I could create a miracle, and you
have to get into the habit of seeking a miracle by yourself from small
things though it's small.
모든 것을 물리적인 방법과 현실적인 사고를통해서 해결할 때에는 많은
문제점에 부딛히게 됩니다. 현실적인 사고는 무척 단단합니다.모순을 해결할 수 없습니다.
When you solve
everything through physical methods and realistic thinking, you run into
many problems. Realistic thinking is very hard. You can't resolve
contradictions.
기적을 구하는 것은 무척 비 현실 적이며 무모한 행동일것이라 생각되지만 현실적으로만
행동할때에는 무척 위험하며 무모해집니다. 쉽게 어리석어지며 옳다고 생각했던 것들의 예상은 모두 빗나갑니다.
Seeking a miracle is thought to be a very unrealistic and reckless act,
but it becomes very dangerous and reckless when you act only
realistically. It's easy to be foolish and miss all the things you
thought were right.
모든 것을 뇌로 판단해서는 안됩니다. 뇌는 이루어줄 것을 단지 도와주는것 이외에
아무것도 없습니다. 목적지를 갈 때 눈은 원하는 곳을 찾도록 도와줍니다. 다리는 원하는 곳을 찾도록 도와줍니다.
You
shouldn't judge everything with your brain. The brain has nothing but
help to get it done. When going to a destination, your eyes help you
find where you want to go. Legs help you get where you want to go.
그러나 눈이 있고 다리가 있더라도 길을 잃고 헤멜 수 있습니다. 뇌도 이와 같습니다. 지능은 단지 도와줄 뿐입니다. 그러나
아무리 지능이 높더라도 헤멜 수 있습니다.
But even if you have eyes and legs, you
can get lost and wander. The brain is like this. Intelligence only
helps. However, no matter how intelligent you are, you can get lost.
기적을 구하면 기적의 힘은 뇌와 눈과 다리를 모두 적절하게 사용합니다. 그러나 기적을 구하지 않으면 뇌와 눈과 다리는
협동하지 않습니다. 생각하지 않고 걸을것이며 생각하더라도 실행하지 않을 것입니다.엉뚱한 방향으로 가기도 하며 가야할 곳을 가지
않기도합니다.
If you seek for a miracle, the power of a miracle uses
your brain, eyes, and legs all properly. But unless you seek a miracle,
your brain, your eyes, and your legs won't cooperate. You will walk
without thinking, and even if you think, you will not act.You could go a
wrong direction and you won't go the way you should go.
이제 좀더
구체적인 방법을 제시하고자 합니다. 어떤 물건을 잃어버렸습니다. 이때는 스스로의 기적의 힘을 시험할 수 있는 가장 좋은
기회입니다. 크게 가치가 있는 것은 아니지만 훈련방법으로는 작고 쉬운 것이 좋습니다. 물건을 찾기에 앞서 우선 기적을 구합니다.
Now, I would like to present a more specific method. You lost
something. This is the best opportunity to test your miraculous powers.
It's not worth much, but it's good to be small and easy as a training
method. Before looking for things, seek miracles first.
기적으로 물건은
찾아질 것이다 라고 스스로에게 지시합니다. 내가 찾아서 물건을 찾을것이라는 생각을 버리고 기적적으로 물건이 찾아질 것이라고
스스로에게 말하고 따라야 합니다. 그냥 아무생각 없이 찾고 헤멜 때 보다 더 쉽게 찾아지는 것을 뚜렷하게 느낄 수 있습니다.
You tell yourself that things will be found by miracle. You have to
give up the thought that you will find things by looking for them and
tell yourself that things will be found miraculously and follow them.
You can clearly feel that things are easier to find than if you were
just casually looking for them.
이렇게 우선 작은것으로 부터 매일 매일 훈련함으로서 점점 더
큰 것으로 도전할 수 있습니다. 작게 이루어져도 그것은 바로 당신이 이룬 것이므로 당신의 힘이며 가치있는 것입니다. 당신의 어깨에
날개가 돋은것이나 다름없는 것입니다.
In this way, you can gradually challenge
yourself to bigger things by training from small things every day. Even
if it is made small, it is the strength and value of yourself because it
is what you have achieved. It's like having wings sprouted from your
shoulder.
점점 더 큰 기적을 이루어내면서 날개는 점점 자랄 것이며 의존으로 약하고 어두웠던 과거에서
벗어나게 될것이며 그때에서야 볼수 있습니다. 과거에 얼마나 어두웠으며 나약했었는지를 깨닫게 됩니다. 검은색 사이에서는 검은색을
볼수 없으며 과거와 달라져 벗어났을 때에서야 과거를 볼 수 있습니다.
As you accomplish bigger
and bigger miracles, your wings will grow and you will be freed from the
weak and dark past of dependence, and only then can you see. You realize
how dark and weak you were in the past. You cannot see black between
blacks, and you can see the past only when it is different from the past
and escaped.
이제 이러한 작은 것을 스스로 이룬것에 대한 믿음이 생겼을 때 더 큰일에 도전할수 있습니다.
주변에 누군가 당신을 괴롭히는 사람이 있습니다. 그사람은 가족일 수도 있고 직장 동료나 상사일 수도 있으며 친구일수도 있습니다.
아무리 해결하려고 해도 해결할수 없는 관계입니다. 기적을 구함으로서 그러한 불편한 관계에서 해방될 수 있습니다.
Now, when you have faith in achieving these small things yourself, you
can challenge bigger things. There are people around you who are
bullying you. That person could be a family member, a co-worker or boss,
or even a friend. It's a relationship that can't be resolved no matter
how hard you try. Seeking a miracle can deliver you from that
uncomfortable relationship.
아플때 당신은 병원으로 달려갑니다. 심지어 큰 병도 아닌데 병원과
약국에 적지 않은 돈을 쏟아 붓습니다. 그런데 세상에는 많은 병원이 있으며 모든 병원이 적합한 치료를 하는 것은 아니며 또한 모든
약이 적합한 약이 아닙니다.
When you're sick, you run to the hospital. It's
not even a big disease, but you pours a lot of money into hospitals and
pharmacies. However, there are many hospitals in the world, not all
hospitals provide suitable treatment, and not all medicines are suitable
medicines.
이약 저약 다 써봐도 되지 않는 경우가 많습니다. 단지 기적을 구함으로서 병원과 약국을 통하지
않고도 병이 나을 수 있으며 또는 적합한 병원을 찾아 낫게 될 수 있습니다.
There are many cases
it is not cured though you use all of this and that medicines. Just by
seeking a miracle, you can be cured without going through hospitals and
pharmacies, or you can find a suitable hospital and be cured.
기적의
힘을 스스로를 통해서 얻게 되었다고 깨닫게 되면 세상의 모든 종교는 구름이었다는 것을 깨닫게 될 것입니다. 구름은 걷혀지고 당신은
무엇이 옳고 그른 것이라는 것을 알게 됩니다.
When you realize that you have obtained
miraculous power through yourself, you will realize that all religions
in the world were clouds. The clouds lift and you know what is right and
what is wrong.
당신은 가르침이 필요없으며 스스로가 스스로의 주인이 됩니다. 트루시즘은 진리를
전달합니다. 그러한 진리는 배우고 따라야 하는 진리가 아니라 깨닫고 이용하도록 하는 진리입니다.
You don't
need instruction, you become your own master. Truthism conveys the
truth. Such a truth is not a truth to be learned and followed, but a
truth to be realized and used.
